The Americana Stage comes back to LIFE!

If you were ever lucky enough to attend a show at the 100 seat venue in Old Town Leesburg, Virginia in the late 90's, then you already know what the heart of this thing is about. The Americana Stage no longer occupies a fixed address, but that isn't stopping us from bringing you some of the finest regional and national talent on the scene. Why drive to the Birchmere, the State Theatre or Iota every single time you want to catch a great show? We LOVE those venues, but we also know it's tough to get into town for those of us out here in the sticks.

The Americana Stage presents "Saturday Night's Live", a new series of live roots and original concerts by artists you'd expect to pay bigger bucks, and drive much farther, to see and hear! And we're doing it in the comfortable, casual environment of our hometown "roadhouse", The Beautiful South!

See www.theamericanastage.com for schedule and details!

A promoter in New Zealand has arranged to purchase 100 copies of Ghostfields, and will promote to at least 15 Americana radio shows in NZ in the coming months! How exciting! We will follow up with a mailing to Americana radio in November, and we'll let you know where and when you can start asking for songs from Ghostfields!

Here's a blurb about Ghostfields...

"A hauntingly beautiful, hip and rockin' collection of 8 originals, 3 penned by friends Walt Wilkins and Kevin Welch, and a rousing rendition of Gram Parson's "Luxury Liner", GHOSTFIELDS, promises to deliver a dose of soulful songwriting, country rock, blues and bluegrass undertones, all masterfully layed down by Austin musicians (the band on this record) The Mystiqueros and some VERY FINE guests. Ellis Paul, Jon Carroll, Michael Lille, Austin Cunningham, Tina Mitchell Wilkins, Corby Schaub, Ron Flynt, and Walt Wilkins are a few of the reasons you don't want to let this one get by without a serious listen. All the gorgeous promotional photos for the project were shot by the gifted and inspired Manon "Mo" Roderick! Liz Weaver of Paprika Creative designed and created the CD cover. Wow. Amazing. You can find them both on our "Friends" page!"

You can pick up a copy NOW at CDBaby.com and by all means, please leave a REVIEW of your very own!
Look for news of how you can request songs from GHOSTFIELDS soon!

Big thanks to all of YOU from Janet Emma & Seven West!!
